Interior Products

There are hundreds of products available for interior painting. Each carry their own purpose, price and level of durability. Typically, we choose products from Sherwin Williams and Hirshfields.  Here are some of the most popular products we use from their stores for our interior painting services.

Sherwin Williams

• Cashmere - Acrylic latex paint. Used for painting walls and ceilings. Key feature is it’s ability to go on easy and leave a silky smooth finish. This product comes with an assortment of sheens. Cashmere is in the mid level price bracket.
• Duration – Duration is extremely durable.  It’s offered in a matte finish or a satin finish.  The matte finish can be compared to most egg-shell finishes. This product is in the higher price bracket but it’s very useful in kitchens and bathrooms because it allows you to scrub the walls clean.
• ProMar 200 Zero VOC – This is an excellent green product available in a variety of sheens and every color. Product has a great level of durability and applies easily.

Hirshfield’s

• Aurora – Manufactured by Benjamin Moore, this product is one of their best interior paints. It covers well with two coats no matter what color is chosen and it’s washable. Like most Benjamin Moore products, this product is in the upper tier price bracket.
• Natura – Another paint manufactured by Benjamin Moore, this green product has the lowest total VOC’s on the market.
• Impervo – Great product for enameling wood work. Offered in Alkyd and Acrylic formulas.  Has low sag resistance and clings to edges.  This product finishes with a classic, smooth feel.

**Another product we use which works well for enameling cabinets or wood is a poly-urethane based enamel from General Finishes.  This product isn’t offered locally but has the benefits of producing an extremely hard, glass like finish.
